"Rayon merely stared at him like he was crazy. He was still trying in the middle of accepting that there was a strangely dressed dude in front of him spouting nonsense. What was he doing wearing such a huge jacket anyway? His arm barely reached half of the sleeve and the thing was long enough to be a woman’s dress. It made him look like tumbleweed and it would be funny if it weren’t so weird.

He slowly pulled his hands off his ears, hoping to hear the other boy more clearly, but before he could, it thundered once more. Rayon clamped his ears shut again and dug his chin down further behind his legs. He shivered from the cold, almost wishing he looked as ridiculous as the boy in front of him if it meant being half as warm."

So this is a short mini-fancomic I made a couple of months ago when I was having all sorts of far-fetched headcanons about motorcity characters. You don't really need to know about Motorcity to enjoy this comic, really, since 95% of it is just headcanons and could be applied to any kind of characters really.
The backgrounds, however, are based from the backgrounds you see in the show. Episode 5 "The Duke of Detroit" to be more precisely.

And btw this is done 100% digitally, Corel Painter has some GREAT brushes that can make it look so close to traditional media it's almost scary!

_{this is probably one of the best things ever. the characters are so.. realistic, and familiar, I think almost anyone can relate these characters to someone they've once known... their personalities are so detectable, and the lingo, and huge jacket (a perfectly quirky trait) just make their whole... them. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to watch much of motorcity before it was cancelled... but even though i don't know the full scope of these characters, i would gladly follow these kids throughout their adventures for a long time. not to mention that the art is absolutely perfect. it always is.}
