well you'll have to know how the bones are otherwise you wont have any basic foundation for the muscles. because, as I said, the muscles are attached to the bones. The bones meazure out the proportions, which is important in basic anatomy.

hard work but it is so very helpful. Honestly never thought to look at the thumb tip like a pear...actually helps!

Granted my time so far with it have drawn three mantis claws, and a buncha baby fingered hands! yay progress!
