Some sort of attempt to paint a african face with albinism.

She's wearing lipstick... I assume :D

This was meant to only be a speedpaint, but I wanted to experiment with wet hair. It's hard I say...
I don't know if I like the values, the tiny thumbnail really makes the picture look uglier than it is.

Yeah yeah I know I do too many portraits...

tools: Corel Painter 12

It;s a very interesting concept you have chosen here. I do feel like the cartilage above the clavicle, I apologise I don't know the name , is a little to protruded , but the anatomy of the face is very realistic and well done.

It's not cartilage, it's a muscle named Sternocleidomastoid :) but you are still right, it's protruding way too much on this painting. It's a very bad habit I still am struggling with. I love the neck's muscles quite a bit so I guess I tend to define them a bit too much even when they aren't visible naturally.
thanks for all the comments!

Of course XD , I'm no good with these names , they don't teach us alot of this in freshman year high school , maybe next year i can learn more in-depth names of muscles.
I also have a great love for that muscle , I t just seems to nice to pass up sometimes .
No problem , thank you for responding , most of the time the more famous artist don't have time to respond to my comments and questions.
I really hope you can have time to make more tutorials , they are very inspiring and helpful

That looks nice! The only thing that I can really comment on is, biologically, I know that Africans usually have larger noses and lips, but her eyes just seem a little too small in proportion. Then again, proportion doesn't always even work in real life.

But good job on making her look her nationality. =)

I really like the painting, but the only thing I would say is the face and neck look a bit tooo masculine.
Nice painting overall though.

Ahh, albinism is so interesting! My sister's headed for dermatology, and she was considering joining a group of other medical students on a trip to Africa to help albinos-- bringing sunscreen and spreading knowledge about them, mostly. Apparently, it's a common belief among African shamans that the limbs of albino people have magical properties, so there's a big problem with them coming and forcibly removing the arms and legs of many albinos and leaving them to die or, if they're lucky, become crippled for the rest of their lives.
... Well, that's my depressing tidbit of information for the day. ;;
I do think that African albinism makes for some really interesting features, because the color of the skin contrasts so strongly with the expectations that we associate with African features. It's a very unique kind of beauty you've depicted here. :)
