omg finally it's done. Man I wished I could fill it with more info, but the size limit you know...

I worked pretty hard with this one. And still I forgot to add a bunch of illustrations. I forgot for example how to draw an old face in manga, stupid me. Anyway, enjoy. I worked my ass off on this one.

Oh my god, this is amazing! I've never been able to find a tutorial, guide, or reference for how to make a character look older or younger. This is absolutely perfect! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this and sharing it!

Thank you for the lovely aging process. I've been trying to draw older characters starting right at the age I want them, which tends to lead to a lot of jumping around and inconsistencies... I'll keep all of these aging processes in mind, and the idea of starting at a certain age that I can easily picture the character in and aging up (or down) from there sounds very useful: and if not, then quite fun! :D

Anyways, thank you again. I've been reading happily through your tutorials (because I like reading about drawing, anatomy, and biology almost as much as I like doing it, heh...) and they've been very informative and pleasant to read. :) I've never really drawn purposefully--or effectively-- in any particular style, but my first attempts at drawing humans were very definitely influenced by anime tutorials and they continue to have a bit of an influence. It's interesting to see what things can characterize one style or another, and these images really help with visualizing the shadows and form on a face.

The old lady is actually really pretty! Just proves to you old people (women) can still be beautiful right up until their end.
