Face Proportions: PROFILE VIEW by FOERVRAENGD Face Proportions: PROFILE VIEW by FOERVRAENGD
This is a little extension for the first part on the "Manga to Realistic"-series of tutorials. ----->

I thought that I should've covered how the face looks in profile, since many who draw manga tend to place the eyes too deep in the skull.

Sorry for the overworked and over-analyzed grid over the head, the ones to the right is probably easiest to follow.

Oh thanks so much. I tried drawing a profile and kept messing up but couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. This helps a lot :)

I am also like Loomis ideas!
I am using 8 head units Ratio for both adult genders. In artwork seems more realistic to me.
But still for me easiest way is to use Human Proportion Calculator I am using android App, it is called HPC
In internet there is also free online version

haha, yeah it would be awesome if they all got DD's. but that would be unfair to all the other deviations out there who also deserves the DD! :)

The proportions are the same both seen in front and in profile, therefore they should be the same in a 3/4 view.
So.... yes :)
